The Clerk of Superior Court is the Passport Agent for Jones County for normal processing of a passport; customers will receive their passport within six weeks from the date the application is received by the passport agency. This office does not guarantee delivery of your passport; for current processing status, please visit travel.state.gov. Those wishing to receive passports sooner may request Expedited Service, at an additional cost (see fee schedule below), to receive their passport within two weeks from the date of receipt of the passport application at the passport agency.

If international departure is less than two weeks, or if a passport is needed for foreign visas, application at a Regional Passport Agency may be advisable. Visit travel.state.gov for more information. This office is not responsible for your passport application once it is mailed from this office. Furthermore, the Passport Agency will not accept calls from any Passport Agent on your behalf.

Check or money order are the only form of payment accepted by The Jones County Superior Court for the application of a passport. All Passports presented after 4:30 pm will be processed the next business day. In order to get additional assurance of a quick response (within two weeks) from the date of the receipt of the application, we suggest you use express mail, for an additional cost (see below).
